Calvin Perryman grew up in rural Wilcox County in the small community of Ackerville. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Business and Economics in May of 2011. Shortly after graduating from Auburn he obtained his real estate license and has been in the real estate business since 2011.
Growing up in rural Wilcox County, Calvin has a deep knowledge in land, farming, and timber production as well as deer and turkey hunting as he was raised hunting from a young age on his families land in Wilcox and Dallas Counties. Calvin has remarkable contacts in the land and timber business throughout the Blackbelt of Alabama enabling him to better serve his clients. He works in the Camden office and concentrates on sales and appraisals of timberland and recreational tract sales in Central and South Alabama.
Calvin has experience valuing rural properties with Comparative Market Analyses and Certified Appraisals which are used by attorneys and CPA’s for estate planning purposes as well as financial institutions for financing purposes. He currently is a State Registered Appraiser for Great Southern Land routinely appraising timberland and other rural properties throughout Alabama.
Calvin is skilled in GIS mapping using the mapping tool of ArcGIS; this mapping is beneficial in marketing land and timber, land and timber management, as well in appraisal reports. Calvin is a member of both the National Association of REALTORS as well as the Realtors Land Institute. Calvin obtained his Alabama Broker’s license in 2014, he currently serves as an associate broker for the Camden Office. In March of 2015 Calvin was awarded the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) Designation by the Realtors Land Institute. In doing this he became the youngest ALC in the State of Alabama and the fourth youngest in the Nation.
