Calvin Perryman is a REALTOR, Accredited Land Consultant, and State Registered Appraiser who combines his love for the real estate industry with his passion for the outdoors. Calvin is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received his bachelors’ degree in Agricultural Business and Economics. Shortly after, he obtained his real estate license and began his career with Great Southern Land in 2011.

Calvin epitomizes integrity, hard work, and personal service in every detail of client relationships. Having grown up in rural Wilcox County, he has vast knowledge of the land, farming, and timber industries as well as professional contacts throughout the Blackbelt of Alabama. Calvin was raised hunting deer and turkey on his family’s land in Wilcox and Dallas Counties. He utilizes his outdoor expertise and industry knowledge to provide an exemplary and personalized service to every client.

Calvin’s experience in the Central and South Alabama rural property market is unparalleled. His clients have consistently sought his advice and trusted his judgement on buying and selling recreational land throughout Alabama. He obtained his Alabama Broker’s license in 2014. He was awarded the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) Designation by the Realtors Land Institute a year later making him the youngest ALC in the State of Alabama and the fourth youngest ALC in the United States.

Calvin routinely performs appraisals of timberland and rural properties as a State Registered Appraiser for Great Southern Land. His experience valuing properties with Comparative Market Analyses and Certified Appraisals allows him to be of benefit to attorneys and certified personal accountants for estate planning, as well as, to financial institutions for industry specific purposes. Calvin has extensive GIS mapping skills and routinely utilizes the ArcGIS mapping tool to expertly market his clients’ land and timber sales, manage their land and timber tracts, and create first-rate appraisal reports.

Calvin is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, the National Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute, and the President-Elect of the Alabama Realtors Land Institute. He is an Associate Broker and top-selling agent with Great Southern Land. Calvin works primarily in the Camden office and lives in Troy with his wife, Samara, and yellow lab, Cooper. He is nationally recognized for turkey calling with the National Wild Turkey Federation and is a ProStaffer with Mossy Oak.
