Description

This really good hunting tract is located in northeastern Wilcox County north of the historic town of Furman and Cedar Creek.  Hills Creek, a year round flowing stream, runs through this tract and feeds into Cedar Creek a short distance to the west. The area adjacent to County Highway 63 is cedar prairie land, and the soils turn into highly productive timberland south or Hills Creek.  All of the land north of Hills Creek to the Dallas County line is really good timber producing land.  Most of this area is planted in 6 year old loblolly pine.  Public power is run to a camo site at the middle entrance to the property.  There is a unrestricted deeded easement from Highway 63 along the main road leading through the adjacent property. The main interior road is being worked now and the Hills Creek crossing repaired. There are signs at the west and east corners of the tract on County Road 63, as well as orange flagging,  There is also a sign at the main entrance to the tract.

This is an excellent hunting tract which also offer a good timber investment opportunity.  Please call Don Donald at 334-419-2874 or Calvin Perryman at 334-419-7277 if you would like to tour the property.
