This really good hunting tract is located in northeastern Wilcox County north of the historic town of Furman and Cedar Creek. Hills Creek, a year round flowing stream, runs through this tract and feeds into Cedar Creek a short distance to the west. The area adjacent to County Highway 63 is cedar prairie land, and the soils turn into highly productive timberland south or Hills Creek. All of the land north of Hills Creek to the Dallas County line is really good timber producing land. Most of this area is planted in 6 year old loblolly pine. Public power is run to a camo site at the middle entrance to the property. There is a unrestricted deeded easement from Highway 63 along the main road leading through the adjacent property. The main interior road has been recently graded and the Hills Creek crossing repaired. There are signs on the east and west corners of the tract on County Road 63, as well as orange flagging, There is also a sign at the main entrance to the tract.
