This /-197 acre tract is located on County Highway 63 north of the historic town of Furman in eastern Wilcox County. Hills Creek is the north boundary of the property as noted in the attached maps. The east line is fenced to the creek and the west line has been surveyed and is clearly marked with metal posts and flagging. Our signs are located at each corner on Highway 63 and at the main entrance gate. Much of the timber has been recently harvested but there is a good patch of merchantable timber on the east side of the tract (see stand map). Also note that the area shown as cedar land has pine and hardwood timber mixed with the cedar. There is a good road system with access controlled by a locked gate and two established game plots as illustrated in the 2013 aerial photograph. The current owner also owns /-129 acres north of the creek which is not for sale at this time, and will reserve a legal right of ingress and egress to the north property. This area of Wilcox County provides outstanding deer and turkey hunting. The hunting lease on the tract expires on May 1, 2015. There is public power along Highway 63 and all mineral rights will be transferred upon sale. Please call Don Donald at the Camden Office at 334-682-9825 or Calvin Perryman at 334-419-7277 for more information and/or an appointment to see.
