With deep roots in the land industry, Scott was inspired by his father, Don Donald, ALC, a prominent figure in the field for decades as a Great Southern Land broker. This familial influence, combined with being a Wilcox County native, instilled in him a profound appreciation for Alabama's landscapes and its diverse opportunities for recreational, hunting, and timber investment purposes.
Before transitioning to real estate, Scott built a distinguished career in pharmacy and chemical engineering. A graduate of the University of Alabama with degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, he initially worked in the paper industry, focusing on ISO compliance and recycling plant operations. Later, he pursued a PharmD from Auburn University, which led to an impactful tenure at Acentra Health, where he served as Director of Clinical Services. His analytical skills and attention to detail, honed through years in engineering and pharmacy, now serve him well in assessing property values and market trends.
Scott resides in Auburn with his wife, Ginny, a physician assistant, and their two children, Lyston and Ruthie. In addition to his real estate endeavors, he enjoys managing his side business, Pine Apple Cedar Co, LLC, where he crafts handmade cedar items from Wilcox County timber.
